Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Fast Passport Photo Online("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
1. Information we collect
- Photos and uploads. Images you upload and technical metadata needed to process them (e.g. dimensions, format, filename).
- Processing and job data. Identifiers and status for processing jobs (e.g. job ID), and related operational logs needed to run the Service.
- Payment-related information. When you pay, Stripeprocesses payments on our behalf. We receive transaction metadata (e.g. amount, currency, payment status, limited customer identifiers) from Stripe. We do not receive your full card number or CVC. Stripe's use of data is described in Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Technical and usage data. Standard server or analytics data such as IP address, device/browser type, and pages viewed. We may use analytics tools (e.g. Vercel Analytics) that process aggregated or pseudonymous usage information.
- Communications. Information you send when you contact support (e.g. email address and message content).
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service and customer support.
- To process payments and prevent fraud (including through Stripe).
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms.
3. What we do not intentionally store long-term
- We do not intentionally retain biometric templates or face embeddings for identification purposes.
- Uploaded images and job artifacts are intended for short-term processing; retention is limited as described below.
4. Retention
- Processing jobs and related files are set to expire automatically.
- Temporary artifacts are intended to be deleted within a short window (e.g. within 24 hours after processing), subject to backups, legal holds, or troubleshooting needs.
- Billing and transaction records may be retained longer as required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance.
5. Sharing of information
- Payment processors: Stripe (and related payment methods) to complete transactions.
- Hosting and infrastructure: Providers that host the Service or provide security and operations (e.g. cloud hosting).
- Legal and safety: When required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Service and users.
We do not sell your personal information as "sale" is defined under U.S. state privacy laws that use that term for monetary consideration.
6. International transfers
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our vendors operate. We use appropriate safeguards where required by law.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us via Contact. We will respond in line with applicable law. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g. in the EEA or UK).
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Please review it periodically.
